An Amazing Night, and a side note....

Last Thursday I wrote about my excitement with participating in the vendor fair at Jack Desmond's that evening.

Well, I wasn't disappointed. The food was tasty and service was great! And while there were about 23 different vendors, I was the only rune reader......actually the only reader of any sort. The four hours went fast and I was honored to share some info on the runes with a few curious people, and three honored me with the opportunity to read for them.

Mark had a great time wandering between the two floors checking out the various offerings. With all the wonderful tables, he could have spent a small fortune. I pretty much stayed put, but was certainly not bored.

All in all, it really was a wonderful evening. My friend Kim coordinates these vendor fairs a couple of times per year, and I have to tell you, she does a fabulous job. I'm hoping to have the opportunity to participate in the next fair (well, future fairs) when she gets it scheduled.

I can't begin to explain to you all how much a part of my life the runes are. While I very much enjoy sharing their counsel and wisdom with those seeking it, and I am very much honored (ok....thrilled) to have almost 300 people in the "Have You RUNED Your Day Yet?" Facebook group and almost a hundred likes on the Facebook page itself (yeah, I know, I'm waving my flag bit), I see them in my daily life.  I've found them in fallen tree branches, sidewalk cracks, cloud formations, even some of the stones I've bought. It makes for a very cool daily adventure.

Each rune has more than one aspect to it, and I'm sure that everyone in the group has noticed that I try to cover them all when I do the daily post. As of late though, there has been a very strong feeling coming that to truly focus on making sure the wisdom is shared clearly, there is a need to concentrate  on just one aspect at a time.....as I read the runes intuitively, I will allow it to guide me when I draw as to which aspect to focus on. This may shorten the length of the daily post, but at the same time it would be my hope that the result would be one of greater understanding for my readers.

If anyone has any feedback regarding this decision, please do not hesitate to contact me, either via the contact section of this blog, or by Facebook. I will read all with an open mind and with appreciation to those taking the time to submit feedback.

So there we have it for this week.  You may hear from me sooner than later as I have some things mulling about the back of my mind.
